Light + Building 2022 was a complete success

ICONAG Leittechnik from Idar-Oberstein was highly satisfied with the response from visitors to its stand: "We are delighted with the high number of visitors to our stand," says Managing Director Christian Wild. In particular, planners and operators of distributed property portfolios showed great interest in the ICONAG solutions. "Many were interested in the possibilities of our B-CON software to implement manufacturer-neutral building management systems and energy management systems. ESG reporting and interfaces for digitalization were also popular topics - especially with regard to sustainable and efficient building management."

Light + Building in Frankfurt am Main is one of the most important industry trade fairs for intelligent and networked solutions and pioneering technologies. From 2 to 6 October 2022, 1300 exhibitors from 46 countries presented trends and innovations for the entire spectrum of home and building automation as well as the effects of digitalization.

The trade fair also offered ICONAG the opportunity to present its product range and services in the field of technical building management. "We were very pleased with the many lively discussions and interesting contacts," summarizes Wild. "After four years without Light + Building, we finally had the opportunity for personal networking again. Not only we as exhibitors enjoyed this, but also many visitors."

The B-CON software is the manufacturer-neutral solution for management and operating equipment, energy management and sustainability reporting as an integrated system. Consulting services for BACnet standardization

Consulting and support for BACnet standardization for vendor-neutral technical building management are essential services. The ICONAG experts support building owners and operators of real estate portfolios in formulating the specifications for building automation and energy data acquisition by creating BACnet specifications. This creates the basis for manufacturer-neutral building automation and the digitalization of processes in technical building management.

B-CON Smart Building Hub

The B-CON Smart Building Hub is the manufacturer- and product-independent data hub for consolidating and processing operating data and functions from a wide range of building automation systems, energy management and IoT devices.

In the B-CON Data Center, the B-CON version is demonstrated as a management and operating device. Insights will also be provided into energy management systems that have been specially developed and optimized to meet the requirements of infrastructure management in data centers.

ICONAG Managing Director Christian Wild emphasizes the importance of intelligent solutions for building management: "Improvements in sustainability must now be proven, simple energy monitoring and controlling are no longer enough. It is high time to make buildings 'smarter' and therefore more energy-efficient."
